Darkprint Imaging Adds WX Mag Roller Recoating Service to Its Offerings

Broomfield, Colo. — Darkprint Imaging is pleased to add the WX mag roller to its OEM mag roller recoating service. The recoated WX roller average page yield is 10% more than the OEM roller with densities of 1.49. For all Darkprint processed mag rollers, the lifetime rating based on field testing is 45,000 prints; this equates to three cycles for the WX.

Darkprint's mag roller technology continues to be an industry leader for mag roller solutions. The technology has patents pending worldwide and is expected to receive issuance within the next two months. The patent covers a variety of processes for recoated rollers as well as new builds. It has gained considerable credibility as two of the processes described in the application are currently being copied by an Original Equipment Manufacturer and a major remanufacturing industry supplier.







Darkprint offers one of the most extensive lines of mag roller solutions in the industry. Patent Approval for Spring Contacts

In addition, Darkprint Imaging announces that is has been advised by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that it received patent approval for its spring contacts and spring hubs. Formal issuance with an assigned number is expected soon. One spring contact is designed to work in any SX, NX, MP-20, PC A-15 and A-30 cartridges. A second version is designed for the LX and XP 5/10 while a third is available for the PX and VX mag rollers.

All contacts are designed for multiple use. Installation takes just seconds and requires no tools. Extended use within the industry in both OEM and recycled mag rollers has proven that the contacts are easy to use and provide excellent electrical connection at a low cost per cycle.
