Dataproducts Announces the LZR 5200 Continuous Feed Laser Printer
Simi Valley, Calif.—Dataproducts Corporation announces the LZR 5200 continuous feed
laser printer.
Robust and cost-effective, this printer offers reliable printing at speeds up to 33 pages per minute
and a monthly duty cycle of 150,000 pages. Boasting a revolutionary paper handling system which allows
two fanfold paper inputs, this printer breezes through all sizes of labels and paper stock.
The LZR 5200 is a new and unique type of printer designed for wide format applications at
mid-range printing speeds. With a wide web print format, the LZR 5200 handles up to a 17-inch-wide
document and offers a full 16-inch print line, ideal for specialized label printing and line printer applications.
The LZR 5200 offers state of the art electrophotographic technology with major enhancements in
wide format imaging. In addition, the LZR 5200 delivers 300 dpi, PCL5e emulation and a 32-bit
processor creating a printer with power and flexibility that easily fits into existing line printer or industrial
graphics environments. This printer is feature-packed with reversing, dual tractor-fed input paths, and
integrated cutting technology. Offering paper paths with built-in tracking and reversal ensures document
registration is maintained, eliminating the cost of wasted forms. The LZR 5200 has a unique multi-temperature
fusing system that allows printing compatibility with most types of media.
