PC ServiceSource Reports Management Changes

Dallas, Texas — In a move to be more responsive to its shareholders and bring strong financial controls to its operations, PC ServiceSource announced two significant changes in its management team which were made during its regular board of directors meeting on July 29. Avery More, the company's largest shareholder and chairman of the board, was given the additional title of CEO. He will be actively involved in the day-to-day business operations of the company. Mark Hilz, who previously held the title of CEO and president, retains the title of president and will focus on the company's revenue growth. "The time has come for me to get personally involved with PC ServiceSource," stated More. "PC ServiceSource has created a unique market position and has tremendous potential. Our new management team will convert this potential to financial success."

More continued, " Mark has always had tremendous insight into the market and great relationships with the service providers and 'EMs. With Mark focusing on our revenue growth, we will ensure steady top-line increases."

The company also announced that Robert J. Boutin has joined the company as senior vice president, chief financial officer and member of the board of directors. Mr. Boutin has a 17-year record of progressive senior financial management responsibility, and joins PC ServiceSource from Computer City, where he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to Computer City, he had more than ten years' experience at CompuCom, most recently as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Mr. Boutin replaces Garold Swan, who tendered his resignation at the board of directors meeting.

Commenting on Mr. Boutin joining the company, Avery More stated, "During the five years Bob and I worked together at CompuCom, we had 20 solid quarters of growth in revenues and profit. It is this financial experience and acumen we need to focus on the concerns of PC ServiceSource shareholders."

PC Service Source supports a customer base of more than 20,000 service providers, providing services for more than 30 major computer manufacturers, and is widely recognized as the largest supplier of service logistics to the PC industry. PC ServiceSource Repair Services, the company's remanufacturing subsidiary, offers a range of services which strategically complements the distribution-oriented service logistics offerings of PC ServiceSource. PC ServiceSource has implemented many industry innovations, including PC SERVICE NET, the PC industry's first real-time Internet ordering and information retrieval system for both warranty based transactions and post-warranty spare parts.
