PhotoPrecise™ Products from Static Control Deliver 1200 dpi Performance
Sanford, N.C. To meet your HP 4000 1200 dpi needs, Static Control Components, Inc. announced its newest
products released during August for the HP 4000 including 1200 dpi PhotoPrecise toner, new and recoated PCRs, foam and
rigid-type RapidSeals, locking rails, hopper caps and pull tabs.
The HP 4000 PhotoPrecise toner is a true six micron toner. It is capable of delivering photographic print performance
in the 1200 dpi ProRes mode comparable to the 'EM cartridge. SCC's PhotoPrecise toner also offers excellent solid
image densities that remain stable throughout the print cycle. PhotoPrecise toner has been formulated to prevent fuser buildup
issues and virtually eliminated any fuser offsetting.
PhotoPrecise toner and Odyssey HP 4000 drum create a superior imaging system for your HP 4000 cartridge
requirements, delivering full 10,000 page yield with a 500-gram toner load. Odyssey Hp 4000 drums are also available with
silencer inserts to prevent operational noises that can occur when using a replacement.
After extensive testing and research, SCC's Imaging Division has created a new process that successfully applies our
highly durable coating to 'EM PCRs while retaining the "soft" 'EM characteristics. SCC offers a fully system-qualified recoated
'EM PCRs at a lower cost than new aftermarket PCRs, and are available in both one and 5/15 cycle types. The recoated PCRs
are qualified to 5% relative humidity levels and no drum insert is necessary.
In addition to recoated PCRs, SCC is now offering new, off-the-shelf HP4000 PCRs, also fully system-qualified which
give you the advantage of immediate turnaround with next-day delivery. Qualified to 5% relative humidity levels, our off-the-shelf
PCRs are available with a 5-cycle durability rating. With SCC's new PCRs you can reduce empty core requirements while
immediately building inventory.
SCC has also released HP4000 replacement doctor blades, featuring the new design and technology of the
'EM-style molded silicone composition rather than polyurethane. The design of the silicone doctor blade assures that the proper amount
of toner is available on the mag roller and helps charge the toner so that it properly develops the image on the OPC drum.
SCC's foam-type RapidSeals are now available for the HP4000 with and without pull-tabs. Foam-type RapidSeals
offer efficient leak-free performance without the installation of rail foams. The pull tape releases with virtually the same pull-force as
the 'EM. The new RapidSeal installation kit is also available and includes rigid-type RapidSeals and tabs, rail assembly jig, hopper
jig, T-handle rail removal tool, locking rails, sealing channel rail foams and end foams, and a foam removal tool.
Other new products for the HP4000 include replacement HP4000 hopper caps, 'EM-type pull tabs and HP4000
reusable stainless steel external locking. SCC's unique ability to develop each product necessary for HP4000 remanufacturing needs, plus
its stringent quality control process, enables the company to continually seek every improvement possible to the entire HP4000 system.
