Static Control Components Establishes New Training/Consulting Position

Sanford, N.C. — Static Control Components, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Vogler to director of training and consulting services, a new position developed to further meet the needs of the remanufacturing industry. According to Vogler, the new position will be both an exciting and demanding opportunity. "I really see this position broken down into three important parts: training, customer consulting, and the supervision and overseeing of our new training facility."

Vogler's involvement with both internal and external training will allow him constant contact with every aspect of the industry. "By being directly responsible for training, I'll have contact with Static's new hires such as members of the sales team, technicians and marketing people. Plus, I'll be able to hold refresher training courses for our customers on an as-needed basis," said Vogler.

As part of SCC's consulting team, Vogler sees unlimited possibilities. "Customer consulting can cover such a wide array of concerns, much of it depending upon customer needs," said Vogler. "As a starting point we'll be offering many different forms of consulting including the manufacturing process, available tools and their usage, customer assistance with facility management, production processes and quality control."

Vogler will also be responsible for SCC's new training and research facility. The facility is the first on-site training center of its kind.

"Our industry is becoming so complex and changes happen so rapidly that we felt this would be an ideal way to supply the much needed help every remanufacturer requires," said Vogler. "We will actually be holding classes right here on our site dealing with new printers and cartridges, marketing and selling your services, facility management; basically everything a remanufacturer needs and wants to know."

Before becoming director of training and consulting services, Vogler spent three years as manager of Technical Support for Static Control. "I feel that learning experience, working closely with our customers and dealing with their problems and concerns, plus working with some of the most talented people in the industry, has enabled me to take on this new position with confidence. I also feel confident that the knowledge we are able to bring to the industry meets the needs of remanufacturers which, ultimately, will let them meet the needs of their customers."

Vogler believes the creation of the new position reinforces Static Control's role in the industry. "To me it just shows our commitment to the customer by offering everything from training in management skills, production and marketing to customer consultation and individual hands-on training."

"Static Control is one of the only businesses in the industry that doesn't remanufacture cartridges," continued Vogler. "I feel this enables us to continually put the customer, the remanufacturer, first and foremost. Helping the remanufacturer address and meet the requirements of their customers is our only goal."

SCC's new facility will also house a small remanufacturing shop allowing for hands-on training with class sizes limited to between 10 and 12 individuals. Preliminary training and consulting services will begin October 1.
