Sanford, NC — Static Control Components announced the release of the Odyssey™ HP
5000 geared drum and HP 5000 wiper blade, expanding your product choices and improving your
production efficiency.
"Having to deal with ungeared drums is a timely process which could potentially
damage drums, resulting in higher cost and waste," said Phyllis Sanders, director of sales for the
Imaging Division. "SCC's geared drums streamline production operations, reducing labor costs and
increasing capacities."
SCC's replacement HP 5000 wiper blades feature an OEM-style molded profile
polyurethane member and are fully qualified with the HP 5000 system. The Odyssey HP 5000 geared drum,
wiper blade, and HP 5000 toner from SCC give remanufacturers the ability to immediately begin
remanufacturing this highly profitable cartridge. Additional products for the HP 5000 include
recovery blades, a complete packaging system, drum shutter actuator springs, hopper compression
springs, mag roller electrical contact springs, and cartridge pins. SCC continues to be in the forefront with
the HP 5000 bringing the industry information and products to successfully remanufacture this
cartridge. SCC has currently under development additional products for the HP 5000 including mag
roller sleeves, doctor blades, seals, a RapidSplitter™ power splitting system, and numerous foams
