Static Control Releases Products for Xerox N24/32/40

Sanford, NC — The SCC Imaging Laboratories has announced the release of an Odyssey™ geared drum and doctor blade for the Xerox® N24/32/40 cartridge. As part of an overall commitment to customers, Static Control continues to invest in research and development projects that expand its customers' reach into lucrative new markets. With a $299 list price for an OEM cartridge, this Xerox cartridge is one of the leading new profit opportunities for our customers.

"Toner and wiper blade qualifications are nearing completion, finalizing an initial imaging system group," said Michael Cox, project manager for SCC Imaging Division. "Additional products currently under development include PCR, mag roller, toner, seal and recovery blade. Static Control has also developed a simple hopper cap removal tool that prevents damage and the resulting toner leakage.

With the growing market share of non-HP printers, new printer placements are creating tremendous opportunities in highly profitable cartridges such as the Fuji-Xerox® cartridge used in the N24/32/40.

According to Chad Golden, director of marketing for SCC Imaging Division, the Fuji-Xerox engine used in the N24/32/40 is also used by Xerox in the DocuCentre digital multifunctional models. "The Fuji-Xerox engine has been used by at least seven other OEMs worldwide in both network printers and multifunctionals," said Golden. "Based on the number of OEMs, Fuji-Xerox is now the leading engine supplier for departmental printers and multifunctional machines."
