New Products from Static Control Include Splitter, Seals and Packaging
Sanford, NC _ Static Control Components has released a wide range of critical products over the
past 30 days for the WX, HP 5000, HP 8100, and Xerox N24/32/40. These products include new seals,
splitters, and packaging supplies, enabling remanufacturers to improve their production process and the quality of finished cartridges.
Static Control's new HP 5000 and WX/HP 8100 foam-type
RapidSeals™ have been engineered
to provide leak-free performance and eliminate the need for rail foams and end foams by tightly
conforming to the split cartridge seam.
The new foam-type RapidSeals have been designed and manufactured to very strict tolerances
and engineered for minimal compression set, which is the major cause of leakage. The newly-designed multilayered seals maintain their integrity by allowing the seal to regain its original height when not compressed. Static Control has invested in a long-term product development process and studied a variety of foams and their compression properties in order to select the optimum materials for the HP 5000 and WX/HP 8100 applications.
The new foam-type RapidSeals have passed SCC's extensive testing and withstood the rigorous
drop and shake tests plus an aging test which represents over one year of actual shelf life. Testing has also shown that there is no need for end or rail foams. However, if the OEM foams are currently in place there is no need to remove them.
Also available for the HP 5000 is the new RapidSplitter™ Power Splitting System. The HP
5000 hopper design is similar to the HP 4000 which prevents the use of insertable seals and requires the use
of rotary cutting blades to effectively split the hopper. SCC's HP 5000 RapidSplitter power splitting
system offers the same 10-second splitting capability as previous power rapid splitter models, guaranteeing
a smooth, clean cut.
SCC has also released an adhesive seal and packaging for the N24/32/40. The four-mil
thick insertable seal has a special high-strength adhesive to accommodate the heavy toner load the unique
seal channel of the hopper. SCC's new, thicker seal is easier to handle and works on both short and
long cartridge styles. Packaging for the N24/32/40 includes box, insert, and box and cartridge labels.
Universal labels are also available.
