Aukland, New Zealand — Printer Ribbon Inkers of New Zealand announces the release of a new set of cradles for cartridge testing with the LT-777 universal cartridge analyzer. The additions include cradles for the HP 5000, HP 2100, HP 8100, Xerox N32, Xerox 4517, Xerox 4508/MT 9108/9208, Xerox Typhoon 8/16, PB 9900/UF550, Apple A8500, OKI 400e, PC310/330, A15/30 series and N-01. Each cradle is priced between $180 to $290. The new cradles can be purchased by LT-777 users as a set or individually to extend the testing abilities of the analyzer. The cartridge analyzer can replace more than 35 different printers, including the AX, BX, EX, LX, NX, PX, SX, VX, WX, HP 4000, HP 1100, FX1, FX2, FX3, FX4, IBM 4019, 4029, 4039, 4049, APPLE 12/640 (XP-12), XP-4, XP-5/10, XP-15/20, UF-744, PB 9800.

The LT-777 received its greatest international exposure at World Expo'98 and has since been to shown throughout the world. It is now in use in many countries of Europe, South Africa, Asia, Australia and North America. Both small and large remanufacturers are reaping the financial and production benefits of the analyzer. The LT-777 will be demonstrated at World Expo'99.

The advantages of the LT-777 are numerous. The complete analyzer replaces test printers and reduce or eliminates testing time, fault finding time, post-test reworking, bench space, paper consumption and printer maintenance.

It detects faulty components and pin hole defects as well as deterioration in the PCR resistance layer, thinning OPC transport layer, weak wiper blade and early wear in the mag sleeve and doctor blade. Such component deterioration can be detected on the LT-777 well before it is evident in the printer or component analyzers, thereby tremendously reducing mid-cycle failure.
