Plastic Tooling Releases Mag-Funnels for the Newest HP Cartridges

Cary, NC — Plastic Tooling Corporation has expanded its Mag-Funnel line to include the latest cartridge types. Mag-Funnels have given remanufacturers an alternative method of filling hoppers ordinarily requiring the split process. The Funnels are now available for the EX, WX/8000, 4000, 5000, 8100 and 2100 hoppers.

To save remanufacturing time, a significant portion of hoppers are not split or sealed. One drawback to not splitting is the slow and potentially messy job of filling through the mag.

The Mag-Funnel provides a method of quickly and cleanly pouring toner through the mag roller opening into the hopper. The funnel is essentially a trough which terminates in the exact shape of a mag roller. The operator simply snaps the funnel onto the hopper and pours a standard bottle of toner in a fraction of the time normally required. Clean-up time is greatly reduced because the toner flows directly into the hopper.

Hopper fixtures are also available for all HP cartridges. The fixtures are not required for filling, but do make all assembly operations quicker and easier. Remanufacturers usind the funnels and fixtures report highter levels of productivity and quality.
