QIP Moves to New Facility, Upgrades Production Equipment
Lake Forest, Calif. — QIP recently relocated to a larger facility. The new 30,000-square-foot building will
allow QIP to reach production capacity of up to 60,000 cartridges per month.
In addition to the relocation, QIP has made extensive upgrades to its production equipment to improve efficiency.
A new dust collection system has been installed with 40%
greater capacity than QIP's previous system. This will allow
for more effective production lines while providing a clean, healthy environment for employees. A number of
improvements have been made to the facility's materials handling system
for better transportation of product through the building.
QIP's goal is to continue to be a remanufacturing industry leader in product quality. QIP produces more than
70 different cartridge types and acts as an outsourcing parnter for other cartridge companies worldwide.
