Sanford, N.C. — Static Control's recent release of
InfoPrint
®
20/Apple
® 8500 products gives remanufacturers all the basic imaging components required to successfully remanufacture this
cartridge and take advantage of the profitable new market opportunity it offers. The new products include
toner, drum, wiper blade and seal. With an OEM cartridge list price of $243, the InfoPrint 20 cartridge is
a profitable new market opportunity for all remanufacturers.
The IBM® InfoPrint 20 and Apple
LaserWriter® 8500 printers both use the 20 ppm
Fuji-Xerox® 20 (P880) engine, originally introduced in
1997. Since then, product demand has steadily
escalated for this B-sized cartridge. Static Control's Imaging Laboratories has responded with the release
of this fully integrated system.
Static's toner and drum combination achieves page yields equal to the OEM rating of 14,000 pages
as tested using the ASTM F1856 Toner Usage Test Standard. Performance of system-matched toner, drum
and wiper blade achieves density rating between1.45 and 1.50.
Static's InfoPrint 20 ProSeal™ prevents leakage and is quickly and efficiently installed. The
new seal has a professional OEM appearance.
