TonerPlus Announces 10 New Plastic Parts and Seals
Austin, Texas TonerPlus, Inc. announces the addition of 10 new plastic parts and seals to its line of more than 2,000 products. The new plastic parts add to TonerPlus' expanding line of injection-molded plastics, ribbon seals and foam seals. These new additions bring the total number of products manufactured by TonerPlus to 78.
The new parts include the 51640/41/45 Ink Jet Clip and the 51626A/51629A Ink Jet Clip.
These clips are designed to protect print heads of these cartridges during shipping in addition to offering a professional packaging appearance.
TonerPlus has added both the WX and HP 4000 left and right mag stabilizer bearings. Rick Lanthier, wholesale sales manager for TonerPlus, stated that these stabilizers will drastically reduce defect issues relating to adverse effects of worn bearings in these cartridges.
Significant product demand precipitated TonerPlus' introduction of the AX Seal Port Plug and the 1100 left and right End Caps. Production of these parts has already been increased.
After additional research and development by TonerPlus' technical staff, the "Universal"
WX Clip has been modified for use with both the old and new style WX cartridges.
TonerPlus' new WX Foam Seal, the Xerox N24/N32 Seal and the Pitney Bowes 9900 Seal offer the same proven performance as the company's other seals. The company's clean release adhesive systems were also used in the construction of these seals. The introduction of the WX Foam Seal has enabled TonerPlus to round out its full line of "split hopper" seals. Mr. Lanthier stated that the new WX Seal shows promise
for use in the HP 8100 cartridge as well. He said, "The time taken to develop and produce the seal has been well worth wait. The new WX Foam Seal is an exceptional
product."
Tom Goebel, president of TonerPlus, was excited about the new product introductions. He remarked that these new introductions are in keeping with TonerPlus' "First to Market" philosophy and have enabled the company to close out 1999 with significant momentum.
TonerPlus currently has more than 15 new parts and seals in development for 2000. "Several of the new parts will have patented technology that should be of
significant interest to the industry," Goebel said.
