Laser Link Software Releases Product For Remanufacturers
Boyertown, Penn. — Quest Software, a division of The Laser Link Inc., announces the release of a total quality management software program designed for the remanufacturing Industry.
The diversity of experience combined with personal knowledge of the Rremanufacturing industry led to development of software directly applicable to remanufacturers.
Quality Quest combines specific software modules designed to assist remanufacturers with the measurement, comparison and processes of total quality.
Some of the modules included in Quality Quest are applied statistics, quantitative analysis, predictability, aids for analyzing data and quality improvement techniques. These modules will give the remanufacturer meaningful data to target specific problems in their process, understand
the financial impact of defectives and track component life cycle and trends.
The company, with offices in Pennsylvania and California,
has been developing proprietary software since 1995. Some of the more popular custom programs written include applicant/job matching for a temporary employment chain; customer service relations, sales commission
payments, and driver settlement checks for a major regional moving company; and real time quote application deployed on a WAN for a national pipe supply company.
Jeff Adzima, lead systems analyst, has 10 years of experience as a quality engineer with companies such as Raytheon and BW/IP. He entered the remanufacturing industry in 1994 and has been a contributing editor for Recharger Magazine dealing with quality control issues. Jeff
is a certified quality control engineer by the American Society of Quality.
Bob Adzima, lead software engineer, has more than 15 years experience in systems analysis and software development with companies such as NSA, GE Aerospace, Ford Aerospace and Lockheed Martin. Bob entered the remanufacturing industry in 1992 and has a hands-on
knowledge of the remanufacturing process.
