Static Releases a New Addition to HP2100 Toner Product Line
Sanford, N.C. — Static Control announces the July release of the latest addition to the HP2100 product line. The new toner, Static's premier
Odyssey
™ brand, was created through an integrated system development process in SCC's Imaging Laboratories, meeting strict criteria
to be named in the Odyssey
™ product line up. The toner, designed expressly for use in the HP2100, addresses the numerous imaging problems noted with HP2100 toner, such as density, stability of density and yield. Remanufacturers will benefit from the quality of this toner and
performance that is comparable to the 'EM in every test criteria. The toner is available in 240-gram bottles, 20-pound toner bags and bulk.
Static's HP2100 Odyssey
™ toner offers superior performance by delivering high densities of 1.43 to 1.56 compared to the 'EM's of between 1.40 and 1.56. It boasts excellent solid image density through out the full cartridge cycle and supports the second cycle usage of
'EM doctor blades and mag rollers. The
Odyssey
™ yield is also comparable to the 'EM by being within 7 percent of the 'EM range and maintains excellent fuser compatibility.
The HP2100 continues to be a high growth cartridge with over 400,000 units per year forecast to be sold in North America over the next several years. This large and growing installed base has driven the demand for more dependable cartridge replacement resources for
price conscious users.
Static has invested heavily in R&D from the initial launch of the HP2100 to bring to you the broadest range of 33 different products so that you can fully address this new and substantial market. Current products offered consist of three types of toner including
