OTC to Promote Seals, Hoppers at World Expo
Long Island City, NY Optical Technologies Corporation will mix fun with business at Recharger Magazine's World Expo 2000, September 20-22, 2000, Riviera Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. To promote its Silver RiteSeals', Optical Technologies will be featuring
photo opportunities for attendees to pose with LuSeal, the company's celebrity seal bride for its campaign against being "wedded to the wrong seal."
"We think many remanufacturers are loyal to their seals, and that is admirable," said Optical Technologies President Lester Cornelius. "But sometimes these relationships just don't work out, especially when a better seal comes along. And the Silver RiteSeal is
definitely an improvement on seal technology."
The Silver RiteSeal uses Clean Seal technology. It has been coated with electrically conductive aluminum to prevent the toner from being electrostatically attracted to the seal material. It also has a unique foam wiping strip, which will clean off any toner that
is loosely attached to the seal. "This revolutionary new design offers a unique double ribbon layer for strength," said Cornelius. "It has withstood a brutal barrage of drop and shipping tests that the competition could not survive."
RiteSeal is available now in PX, AX, WX, EX and HP 4000. OTC offers free samples of each seal for testing. "We hope everyone will give the RiteSeal the opportunity to become their seal of choice," Cornelius said. "It addresses the major concerns that we all
have on seal integrity."
OTC invites World Expo attendees to see how the RiteHopper can save them thousands of dollars _ or more _ when used in HP 4000 production. Using OTC's specially designed interactive software program, attendees will be able to punch in data on their production
levels and determine how much RiteHopper will improve their bottom-line performance.
The large capacity RiteHopper holds 750 grams of toner, which is 50 percent more than the OEM toner fill of 500 grams. The RiteHopper has been designed and refined to allow for the increased capacity. It is also designed to provide acute angles that keep toner from
remaining unused in the hopper.
"This hopper will give remanu-facturers an opportunity to meet and beat OEM products on every issue," said Cornelius. "A remanufacturer can now compete on the basis of image density, yield, and of course, price."
The RiteHopper has been found to address and correct the warping that occurs after a hopper has been split using most hopper splitters available in the industry today. "The reinforced face of our hopper holds the developer assembly flat," explains OTC
President Lester Cornelius. "This remedies the common problem of warping of the developer assembly after splitting."
Another benefit of the RiteHopper is its ability to convert a 27A into a 27X cartridge, and one that exceeds the 27X capacity by 25 percent.
