PRI Releases New Generation Automated Cartridge Analyzer

Aukland, New Zealand — Riding behind a wave of success from the original LT-777™, PRI released the next generation of automated cartridge analyzers.Since its introduction in 1998, the LT-777 has afforded testing of multiple cartridge types to help remanufacturers achieve unrivalled quality standards.

With the release this year of the LT-777™ _ AUTO, cartridge testing has accelerated to a higher level again. New features include automation for ease of use, density and grayscale testing, a yield performance on every cartridge in just one minute and the ability to qualify components without a history record.

Many highlights of the previous model have been retained. The same quick-change cradle system is used and has been expanded to replace 43 test printers including color cartridges like the HP4500. Other types are under development. The concept of pre-testing cartridges to qualify components for remanufacturing is more attractive and faster on the new LT-777. A hallmark of the original analyzer was the 0.5% fail rate achieved in the post-test and this continues in the new line of machines.
