New "Big Round Filter" Offers Reliability, Three-Year Warranty and Ease of Service
Jonesboro, Ark. — Camfil Farr introduces a "Big Round Filter" (BRF), which combines ease of operation and service with superior reliability and a three-year warranty. The new reverse air dust collector uses a simple but effective design that minimizes the number of
moving parts, reducing wear and allowing the manufacturer to offer this unprecedented warranty. In addition, the dust collectors cleaning system is self-contained and requires no plant compressed air. The Big Round Filter is ideal for high-volume collection of dry dusts generated
during powder and bulk handling operations in the toner cartridge industry.
The Big Round Filter features a perforated inner cone that reduces velocities and enhances performance resulting in high filtration efficiency, high dust loads and extended filter life. Cleaning is performed by a reliable, easy-to-maintain rotating arm that uses a
minimal number of wearing parts. A fully welded housing of seven and ten-gauge metal with a domed roof provides a rugged enclosure designed to withstand 24" w.g. pressure. The collector is equipped with a large ladder and service platform that provides easy access to
the clean air plenum.
The Big Round Filter is available in 21 standard models with a choice of eight-, 10- or 12-foot fabric bags or pleated filters in a choice of media. Replacement bags or elements are available from Camfil Farr or from local suppliers.
