EMPTIES.com Reaches Record-High Number of Hits
AUSTIN, Texas — EMPTIES.com — the first global online trading resource
for buyers and sellers of empties, finished product, tools, parts, supplies,
equipment and other industry commodities — registered a record number of
hits in November 2001. More than 238,655 Internet-users have accessed the site,
and a rapidly-increasing number of constituents are using the site as their
primary source of industry trading. The most impressive feature of the site
is that difficult-to-locate products can be accessed from all across the globe.
The unique auction-style format provides all industry players with an equal
advantage in the search and bidding process for recharging supplies.
"Geographical limitations no longer apply," said Mark Ansier, vice
president and managing director. "Our staff worked diligently to produce
the new Version 2.0 of EMPTIES.com for the world to utilize. We've added many
new features for buyers and sellers. The most visible addition is the "I
Want To Buy" section of the site. This area can be accessed by all of our
registered users. Buyers post their wish list of product for our registered
sellers to bid on. Sellers compete for the buyer's order. This new section and
the entire new version has brought in hundreds of new users which equates to
thousands of new hits."

in Version 2.0. Our programming staff has rewritten the sites dynamic elements
using PHP and transactional SQL. The help pages and tutorials have been detailed
to answer user questions gathered over the past year," said J'ey Etheredge,
