MKG Requalifies for "50 Best" Certification
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario For the third consecutive year, MKG Cartridge Systems
has been certified as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Private Companies.
The "50 Best" requalification allows the quality-oriented remanufacturer
to use the designation as part of its advertising and corporate identity programs
for another year. The company was informed of its recertification on Nov. 12.
"We are proud that we have been able to meet the demanding criteria of
the 50 Best' program for a third year," said MKG president Michael
Grist. "It validates our focus on strong business and financial management,
and our success at meeting customer expectations with high quality products
and services. It's a great way to kick off the 2002 year."
Over the last year, MKG reengineered its manufacturing operations to improve
efficiency and to better align production with demand. This contributed to strong
performance in 2001, and prepares the company for anticipated growth in 2002
and beyond.
With manufacturing systems solidly in place, MKG will concentrate its energies
on sales and marketing in 2002. "The current soft business climate is leading
businesses to look for additional ways to cut costs without compromising on
quality." Grist said. "This creates positive market dynamics for quality-oriented
rechargers like MKG, and we intend to take full advantage of our opportunities."
