Static Control Enhances its Inner Sealing Blade for the Lexmark Optra S/Se/T Cartridges to Help Prevent Leaks
SANFORD, N.C. Static announces its release of the improved Inner Sealing
Blade for Lexmark Optra S/Se/T cartridges. The addition of self-adhesive tabs
helps eliminate leaking problems. This solution is guaranteed when using Static's
improved inner sealing blade with tabs and following the instructions.
Both 'EM and remanufactured cartridges have experienced leakage problems. Lexmark
addressed the problem by adding tabs and caulking to the inner sealing blade
to reduce leakage. Static Control has developed a similar method to protect
remanufactured cartridges from leaking.
The developer roller drives the toner under the inner sealing blade where the
toner becomes compacted and can cause the ends of the blade to raise up, resulting
in leaks. To prevent this from happening, Static Control now includes a set
of tabs with each blade. These self-adhesive tabs are placed at each end of
the blade. The tabs are then caulked to help keep the sealing blade securely
in place throughout the cartridge cycle and eliminate leakage.
Static Control also includes tabs and caulk with inner sealing blades for the
Lexmark 4019/39/49 cartridges. Because these cartridges have a similar design
as the Lexmark S/Se/T cartridges, Static Control engineers felt it was important
to solve for potential leaks, so that remanufacturers have a solution on hand
when and if this problem arises.
