Static Releases the Industry's First Matched HP8500 Drum and Chip Solution
SANFORD, N.C. — Static Control announces the release of the industry's
first matched OPC drum and chip solution for the HP8500. Static's HP8500
SmartChip is programmed to match each PhotoPrecise HP8500 OPC drum. The drum
offers page yields of 12,500 for full color (CMYK) or 50,000 for black.
Just like the 'EM integrated electronics system, SCC's drum and chip work
in tandem – the chip must be programmed to match the drum sensitivity.
Each drum and chip set is then lot coded and shipped together as a matched pair.
Static's PhotoPrecise drum provides a clear image with every print. And
Static offers a one-cycle guarantee for this drum against wear-related defects.
