CBR-SME Introduces 25/49 Nozzle-Cleaning Machine
FRANKLIN, Tenn. — CBR-SME introduces the DripClean 100, a dedicated
nozzle-cleaning machine for the HP 25/49, which is now available for
purchase.
Utilizing the same drip-cleaning technology found in the
ColorCharger 800, the DripClean 100 uses a high surfactant to provide a unique,
pulsing vacuum-cleaning action. The operator has visual feedback concerning the
cleanliness of each cartridge and the capability to individually replace
them.
The DripClean 100 has 10 cleaning stations, each of which has
adjustable drip positioning and can be individually turned on or off as needed.
The surfactant is stored in a multi-gallon reservoir, from which the cleaning
fluid is fed to the cleaning stations. The rate of fluid (drip frequency) is
adjustable on each independent station. Each station is equipped with its own
vacuum, which holds the cartridge tightly into place during cleaning and vacuums
the cleaning fluid through the printhead and into a draining system. The
DripClean 100 requires a pneumatic connection.
