Mike Ryan Named Vice President of Business Development for Laserstar
WOBURN, Mass. — Laserstar, the region’s leading provider of recycled toner
cartridges, refurbished office printers and office equipment service and
maintenance, has named Mike Ryan as vice president of business development.
A native of Melrose, Ryan brings more than 10 years sales experience in the
technical and computer industries to his new position. Ryan began his career in
retail sales for a computer reseller and earned numerous promotions to key
management positions. Prior to joining Laserstar, Ryan was an account executive
for Minolta/QMC, Inc. the laser printer manufacturing subsidiary of Minolta
Corporation.
In his new position as vice president of business development
at Laserstar, Ryan will be responsible for sales management and the training and
development of the sales force. His focus will be to maintain the company’s
excellent customer service as well as develop new business.
Ryan holds an
associates degree in graphic arts from Springfield Technical Community College
in Springfield, Mass. Throughout his career, Ryan has pursued extensive
training in sales, desktop publishing, color laser printers, color management
systems, computer networking and various other digital imaging systems.
Ryan
currently resides in Melrose with his wife Joan and his daughters Carolyn and
Julia.
