Recharger Magazine Names Rebecca Parker Copy Editor

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Recharger Magazine is pleased to announce the addition of Rebecca Parker to the editorial department as copy editor. Parker, who joined the magazine last June, will be advancing to assist with the editing, writing and layout of the magazine.
Parker brings with her more than 10 years of experience in marketing communications. Prior to joining Recharger Magazine, Parker worked for John Goodman and Associates in Las Vegas, Nev. as director of marketing, where she was responsible for organizing educational seminars and conferences, as well as designing the layout for the company’s monthly publication. Parker also worked for Concrete Technology Corporation in Tacoma, Wash. as a marketing communications manager, developing and editing promotional material, writing press releases for various media outlets and writing articles for the company’s newsletter.
“Rebecca’s background in writing and layout, coupled with her industry knowledge from assisting with World Expo, will make her an invaluable editorial team member,” said Managing Editor Julie Kerrane.
A native of Washington state, Parker has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a marketing concentration from the University of Washington. She relocated to Las Vegas a year ago with her husband, Russ, who is a pilot for the U.S. Air Force. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling and reading fiction.
“I’m excited about this new opportunity,” said Parker. “Recharger Magazine is a valuable source of information for people in this industry and I look forward to any contribution I can make to add to its value.”
