Imagine Technology Group Names New President of Central California Operation

CHICAGO — Imagine Technology Group (ITG), an office technology dealer acquisition company, named John Schweizer as president of Lucas Business Systems, its central California operation.

Schweizer, who has more than 15 years of experience in both hardware and software marketing, will use his multi-faceted background to spearhead an aggressive growth strategy that ultimately has Lucas Business Systems positioned as the central valley’s premier business solutions provider.

“This area is experiencing rapid business growth and vendors that can provide fresh ideas and a complete office technology solution will lead the marketplace,” said Schweizer. He oversaw IKON operations in Dallas and the Silicon Valley, and most recently was the vice president of worldwide sales for Austin, Texas-based Tonic Software. “Lucas Business Systems has consistently been one of the industry’s leading hardware and after-sale service providers. When you combine that with my strong solutions background, it’s a win/win for our customers or prospects.”

John Leinweber, ITG’s CEO and president, feels Schweizer’s diverse sales and management experience will translate into a lengthy career at the holding company.

“John brings extensive experience in overseeing all aspects of accounting, operations and providing outstanding customer sales and service,” said Leinweber. “His strong blend of cross-functional knowledge and sales expertise will provide Lucas Business Systems with the industry experience necessary to ensure extraordinary success. We are delighted to have John join our company and look forward to many years of success with him.”

ITG’s overall goal is to acquire and merge document-imaging dealers that have built a reputation on quality, possess a growing customer base and have strong vendor relationships, then encourage and facilitate growth.
