LaserCycle to Implement New Business Enterprise Software
LENEXA, Kan. — LaserCycle announced it has contracted
to purchase IFS business software, which is “designed to improve the
total transactional experience for each of our valued customers located
throughout the world,” according to company CEO Rick Krska. The IFS
software applications will enhance every aspect of the LaserCycle and InkCycle
business practices, from manufacturing, engineering, quality management and
distribution to financial, service management, sales and marketing, business performance,
document management and business modeling.
“We chose IFS Applications™ because it provides
the functionality we need to take our business to the next level,” said
Cathy Lynch, chief financial officer and vice president of administration at LaserCycle.
“From an internal standpoint, we were at the point where our current
system soon would not allow us to respond to the demands of our continually
growing business. By addressing tomorrow’s needs today, we will be in an
even stronger position to serve our customers. As a remanufacturing technology
leader, it only made sense that the backbone of our business was also state of
the art. IFS’ suite of applications not only is well integrated, but
it’s also easy to add components as our needs grow.”
According to LaserCycle Director of Sales Mike Williamson,
“I am thrilled that our solid business growth has allowed us to take
advantage of the latest technology. By making this type of investment, we are
creating the future instead of reacting to it. I am confident that all of our
customers, external and internal, are going to see real improvement in how we
meet their growing needs.”
IFS will work with eNSYNC Solutions, a Kansas City
consulting firm, to implement the IFS solution. IFS and eNSYNC have formed an
alliance to implement IFS
software.
“With its component architecture and more than 60
available components, IFS Applications is the perfect business solution for
fast-growing manufacturing companies such as LaserCycle,” said Terje
Vangbo, IFS North America president. “With IFS, you can buy and install
components only as you need them, and installation is fast and easy. This adds
up to rapid payback on your software investment.”
LaserCycle Inc. and its inkjet division, InkCycle,
remanufacture the Certified Perfect Print™ brand of laser toner and
inkjet printer cartridges. The Lenexa-based company is also an authorized
repair and service center for HP and other major brands of printers.
