Static Control Adds New Products to HP 8500 Lineup

SANFORD, N.C. — Static Control Components (SCC) recently released three new products for the HP 8500: the Odyssey® mag roller, developer roller and adder roller. These products complement Static Control’s existing HP 8500 product line and make it even easier for remanufacturers to take advantage of this market.

The Odyssey mag roller is one of Static Control’s expanding line of quality mag rollers, made in-house using patented coating technology. This new coating technology provides remanufacturers with improved transfer rates for denser prints without sacrificing toner yield; has better resistance to wear, showing fewer concentric wear patterns; and has better performance in low humidity, with less ghosting and backgrounding.

Static Control’s HP 8500 developer roller delivers stable first-cycle print performance that is comparable to OEM rollers. It has been designed in conjunction with Static’s PhotoPrecise™ toners and doctor blades for exceptional performance. It also helps relieve streaking and non-uniformity often experienced with one-cycle rollers. It is now available in single-, five- or 20-count packages.

The foam toner adder roller is an important imaging component in HP 8500 color cartridges. It supplies toner to the developer sleeve since there is no magnet in HP 8500 developer sleeves and no magnetic material in the toners. SCC’s toner adder roller has been fully qualified to work with PhotoPrecise toners.
