Static Control Introduces New Seal for Canon PX/VX
SANFORD, N.C. — Static Control Components (SCC)
recently introduced its patented ribbon-type seal for the Canon PX/VX. This
seal has also been fully qualified for the Canon PC330/770.
This addition to SCC’s seal product line provides
remanufacturers with a more reliable, easier-to-use sealing option for the
PX/VX. This patented seal has increased rigidity for a simple one-step
installation process and is made with a new type of adhesive that is much
easier to remove.
Static Control’s new adhesive has the strength to
prevent leaking. More importantly, it adheres so completely to the base
material that there is no residue left on the cartridge when the seal is
removed, saving time during cleanup.
The PX/VX seal is easier to install than traditional seals.
It is made with multi-layer construction that makes it more stable than
traditional seals. SCC engineers have also modified the traditional seal design
to include an integrated tab on the side of the seal. Simply grasp the small
tab and slip the seal into position.
Once the seal is installed, the tab tears away easily. This
means no more troublesome stabilizers to deal with. An additional benefit of
this seal is that it helps reduce waste, since the tab is substantially smaller
than a traditional stabilizer.
