Teckn-O-Laser Ranked As One of the Largest Employers in Its Region
SAINTE-JULIE, Quebec — Teckn-O-Laser has been in a
continual hiring mode for the last few years and is still expecting growth for
the upcoming year.
The company was founded in 1988, with Yvon
Léveillé, the company’s president and founder, and his
wife, Céline, as the only employees. After just a few months the hiring
process started, as demand for the products increased. The company employed
more than 200 people by 2000, and by the end of 2002 counted 300 people on its
team.
For the past three years, Teckn-O-Laser has been ranked as
one of the top employers in its region. It has reinforced this rank with the
hiring of almost 100 people in the last year, with more to come in 2003.
