HPRSA Debuts New Polyester-Based Toner

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – Hitachi Printing Solutions America Inc. (HPRSA) recently announced the addition of a new compatible cartridge for the HP 4200 high-speed laser printer that utilizes a polyester-based toner. Marketed under the Dataproducts-brand label, the remanufactured cartridge provides users with OEM quality and compatibility.

This new addition to the extensive line of Dataproducts-brand compatible toner cartridges is designed specifically for the newest fusing technology used in the HP 4200. The polyester-based toner cartridge allows lower temperature fusing than conventional styrene-based toners, supporting faster print speeds while providing superior fusing and adhesion.

"HPRSA's introduction of polyester-based toner in its compatible cartridges is just one more example of our ability to stay ahead of the market based on our extensive technology and manufacturing resources," said HPRSA Executive Vice President Bill Barclay.

The compatible cartridge is the first to be packaged in a newly designed, colorful box that highlights HPRSA’s tradition of innovation and leadership as a printer OEM and member of the Hitachi family of technology-driven companies. HPRSA is one of only a few OEM printer companies that also manufactures compatible aftermarket consumables. The company offers its resellers hundreds of imaging supplies for impact and non-impact printing, along with a secure e-commerce Internet site and rapid order fulfillment. The quality system is registered to the worldwide quality standard ISO 9001, giving resellers assurance of consistent high quality that provides a selling advantage.
