IPM Welcomes New Engineers to Management Team
ISTANBUL, Turkey – Turkish toner manufacturer Imaging Products Manufacturing (IPM) announced three key additions to its management team and a major change in its organizational chart.
The new engineers for IPM are chemical engineer Meliha öztürk, chemical engineer Ayla Sazak and industrial engineer Ahmet Taskaya.
öztürk is the new head of manufacturing processes; Sazak is the new quality-control manager; and Taskaya, an industrial engineer and veteran of one of the most important industrial groups in Turkey, is now on board at IPM as head of its logistics department.
"It is a difficult transition that has taken most of our intellectual resources, but we needed it," said IPM Coordinator Ali örgucu. "We have seen the opportunity during our ISO 9001 studies to reorganize ourselves to be a better and more efficient organization."
örgucu said that the reorganization work is almost done and the ISO 9001 audition is scheduled for the first week of March 2004.
To expand its copier and laser printer toner product lines, IPM launched a new product-development program that focuses on two additional laser printers and one copier model. These models have not yet been released, but örgucu said that they will be the most popular ones used in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
IPM plans to announce these models during the Remax Show in Barcelona, March 31-April 2. Visitors to the IPM booth at Remax will be able to discuss toner issues with company engineers and toner experts. Art Diamond, president of Diamond Research Corporation, an internationally known expert in toner and inkjet chemistry who has been working closely with IPM over the past few years, will also be on hand to answer questions.
IPM currently exports its compatible toner products to customers in 24 different countries.
