InkCycle Announces Mike Meadows to Head Strategic Team
LENEXA, Kan. – LaserCycle recently announced the appointment of Mike Meadows as vice president of the company’s inkjet division, InkCycle. Meadows’ primary role will be to develop, implement and manage the company’s strategic focus as it seeks improved channel and customer diversification.
Meadows and his team will be responsible for creating the strategic alliances necessary to pull business efficiently through consumer-dictated resale channels.
"By carefully listening to the real demands of the ultimate customer (the end user), who is now, more than ever, seeking an alternative to the outlandishly expensive OEM cartridge, InkCycle will position our products with distribution and resale partners that respect the importance of delivering those products where and when the end user needs them, regardless of the channel," said Meadows.
For the last five years Meadows worked for what is now Corporate Express, where he served in several leadership roles. Most recently, he was responsible for the acquisition and implementation of Fortune 500 accounts in his role as vice president of strategic accounts, Midwest.
Prior to Corporate Express, Meadows spent five years at Unisource, the nation’s largest paper distribution company, where he was responsible for the start up of its business imaging segment in Cleveland. It was at Unisource that Meadows received his first exposure to a young inkjet industry.
"After an exhaustive search for the perfect combination of strategist and tactician, visionary and producer, we are excited to have Mr. Meadows in this key position," said LaserCycle founder and CEO Rick Krska.
"What excites me the most about having Mike on board is his entrepreneurial drive, backed with real-world leadership experience," said Brad Roderick, LaserCycle vice president of marketing.
"Like the rest of our team, he recognizes that the only way we can continue to be the dominant volume and quality leader is by constantly focusing on true collaborative partnering with other innovative companies."
