Recharger Magazine Names Megan Hubble Market Development Manager

LAS VEGAS – Recharger Magazine recently announced the promotion of Megan Taylor Hubble to market development manager. In her new role, Hubble will be responsible for creating marketing materials for the existing line of Recharger products, including the magazine, World Expo trade show and ReView executive summit, as well as assisting in developing and launching new products. In addition, she will be responsible for coordinating and unifying the branding for all Recharger products, including the magazine, Web site and conferences.

Hubble joined Recharger as features editor in May 2002. She has more than 10 years of experience in print and online publishing, specializing in trade and technology publications. Prior to joining Recharger Magazine, she was an editor and writer for several newspapers, including the King County Journal and Exhibit City News, and magazines such as Northwest Science and Technology.

"Recharger Magazine is expanding to meet the information needs of the industry and we are launching new products and services, such as Remanufacturing Viewpoints, the new executive-level industry conference," said Phyllis Gurgevich, publisher of Recharger Magazine. "Megan has shown a tremendous capacity for developing new concepts and maintaining the Recharger brand or identity across the growing and diverse set of products. I can’t imagine being able to move forward as quickly and professionally without the talent Megan brings to her new position."

"I’ve met so many wonderful people in this industry over the last couple of years, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing Recharger grow," Hubble said. "I’m excited to have the opportunity to take this step toward improving the Recharger brand and ensuring consistent marketing across all of our products."

A native of Washington state, Hubble has a bachelor of arts with a double major in English and physics from Whittier College in Whittier, Calif., and a master of science in technical communication from the University of Washington in Seattle. She has resided in Las Vegas since 2001, and in December 2003 married Ben Hubble, a Web designer and occasional contributor to Recharger Magazine

In her spare time, Hubble enjoys reading, traveling, playing golf and bicycling, and is an avid fan of the Seattle Mariners.

Recharger Magazine, a 101communications publication, is a monthly trade journal for the office supplies remanufacturing industry. In addition, Recharger Magazine produces Office Technology magazine; hosts World Expo, the world’s largest gathering for the office products recycling industry; and hosts ReView, the Remanufacturing Viewpoints executive summit.
