XPS Introduces HP 4600 Cartridge
VENRAY, Netherlands – Dutch-based remanufacturer XPS has announced the release of the HP 4600 color laser cartridge.
According to Tom Claessens, XPS new product development manager, the development of the HP 4600 has been much more challenging than that of the HP 4500.
"Compared to other color products like the HP 4500 and HP 8500, the HP 4600 is much more difficult to develop and remanufacture. The critical components are much more sensitive. Small deviation already causes significant defects, which are difficult to track down. Analyzing and understanding the xerographic process and the cartridge critical components is therefore key to developing and building a good quality cartridge. The experience we have gained over the past three years developing and understanding color laser cartridges has therefore been more than helpful in the development of the HP 4600," he said.
The HP 4600 is the fifth color laser cartridge in the XPS color laser product range. XPS will continue to specialize in this niche segment and is already working on the next cartridges to be introduced.
