Teckn-O-Laser Certified With New ISO 9001:2000 Standard
SAINTE-JULIE, Quebec – Teckn-O-Laser, a leading North American producer of aftermarket cartridges, has successfully passed certification from the Quality Management Institute (QMI) for the new ISO standard, version 9001:2000.
Teckn-O-Laser has implemented and maintains a quality management system, which fulfills the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 as written on its new certificate of registration dated Dec. 14, 2003.
This new version of ISO puts more emphasis on the customer as it imposes, among other requirements, regular and precise customer satisfaction measures. It also requires stringent methodologies and quality-control measures throughout all the company’s processes and departments in order to generate continuous improvement and proactive actions. More precisely, the additional modules emphasize preventive actions and customer needs and requirements.
"It is easy for companies to say that they ensure customer satisfaction, but we at Teckn-O-Laser not only say it, we impose upon ourselves a standard to deliver it," said Alain Lachambre, vice president of sales and marketing for Teckn-O-Laser.
