CBR-SME Introduces New Foam Drying Jet Dry 100

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – CBR-SME has developed the Jet Dry 100, which allows inkjet cartridge foam drying through patent-pending technology.

The Jet Dry 100 is intended for use in conjunction with a flush-cleaning machine such as CBR-SME’s VersaClean 440, which uses warm water to flush excess ink from the cartridge foams. After centrifuging, the Jet Dry 100 utilizes a unique heated, forced-air system to target the foam cores, thoroughly drying the foams in a short period of time.

An operator-selectable temperature range and cycle time optimize the process. Features include a convenient countdown timer, which displays the cycle time remaining, and dual temperature indicators for "set-point" and "actual" temperature indications. Interchangeable fixturing allows for the drying of different cartridge types. Fixture changes are simple and take approximately 15 minutes. The Jet Dry 100 is PLC controlled for convenience and production reliability.

CBR-SME features a comprehensive line of inkjet remanufacturing equipment, supplies and process know-how.
