Toners & Photoreceptors 2004 Scheduled for June
OJAI, Calif. – The 21st Annual Toners & Photoreceptors Conference, to be held June 6-9, 2004, will return to the Fess Parker’s DoubleTree Resort in Santa Barbara, Calif. Delegates who attend this year’s conference are promised a few new surprises, as well.
Dr. Brian E. Springett, the seminar chair, joined with Art Diamond, Tiara Group chairman, to construct the program for this event. Among the highlights of this year’s forum are: the disclosure of a new type of dry toner that is UV-curable for better permanence and abrasion resistance; a breakthrough in wiper blade coating that promises to extend OPC drum life measurably; new particle drying technology for chemically produced toner (CPT); a tutorial on monocomponent toner by one of Lexmark’s leading toner scientists; an overview of toner and OPC manufacturing in China; Docutrend’s annual assessment and forecast for toners and photoreceptors; CAP Ventures’ annual analysis of remanufacturing market trends; and other key topics to be presented by industry leaders from around the world.
"While relaxing in the comfort of this luxury hotel, registrants can conduct serious business, learn about the newest technical advances, be briefed on the latest market trends, meet privately with suppliers, producers, and customers, and establish personal relationships with the industry’s major players," said Terry Gorka, seminar producer and Tiara Group managing director.
"There is ample opportunity for audience participation either by simple question and answer sessions, or by expressing a point of view, or by informing the audience of fresh data or market news," said Springett. "It is not just the speakers that participants learn from at these highly interactive seminars."
The Tiara Group, LLC is a seminar and trade show management organization spun off of Diamond Research Corporation (DRC), a 36-year-old chemical consulting and information service firm focused on the imaging industry.
