CBR Releases the SmartPrinter 818

BASEL, Switzerland – CBR-SME has released the SmartPrinter 818, the latest product in the company’s SmartPrinter series. Since launching the series more than two years ago, CBR-SME now has eight SmartPrinter models for more than 40 cartridges, including HP, Canon and Lexmark.

Due to customer requests, the new SmartPrinter 818 has extended testing possibilities for cartridges including the HP 27, 28, 56, 57 and 58. It sports a new design with bigger graphics, more functions and an easy graphical menu operation.

Additional adjustments to the SmartPrinter 818 include:

• Simulation of the resistancy and contact quality of OEM printers (self-customizing of the resistancy values)

• Simulation of print head cleaning (printing onto a pad without paper function)

• Nozzle activation without using paper

• Detailed ladder print for each nozzle, including graduations

• Color mixing

• Adjustment of print speed length

• Acoustical control of good/failed cartridges

• Automatic paper cut

• Statistics (individual and resetable counters for all cartridge types)

In addition, the SmartPrinter 818 saves time by not testing cartridges that are unable to be remanufactured, and it provides the best possible quality to end users.
