Eurosource Gains EMAS Accreditation

FALKIRK, Scotland – Eurosource, a company specializing in mobile phone and printer cartridge recycling, has been accredited by EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme), an initiative designed to improve companies’ environmental performances.

"EMAS accreditation is only given to organizations that go beyond minimum legal compliance and continuously improve their environmental performance," said Jamie Rae, managing director of Eurosource. "We’re delighted to have earned this independent recognition that verifies we practice what we preach when it comes to being committed to the environment.

"Minimizing the amount of waste we produce, reducing energy consumption and making more efficient use of resources all help protect and enhance the environment," Rae said. "What’s more, they help save money too. We all gain."

EMAS members must regularly produce a public statement that reports on their environmental performance. An environmental verifier must independently check the statement.
