Multi-Laser Sponsors Fifth Annual Grand Prix Cycling Race
GANANOQUE, Ontario – Multi-Laser sponsored the fifth annual Multi-Laser Grand Prix, named as one of the top 10 amateur stage races in the world by readers of www.cyclingnews.com, in Gananoque from Sept. 11-12.
More than 250 cyclists from Canada and the United States competed for $10,000 cash and the equivalent in merchandise prizes. The Grand Prix features four stages: the 120-kilometer road race, 200-meter street sprints, 10-kilometer time trial and the Figure 8 Criterium Race.
"It’s an action-packed weekend that offers the chance to witness some world-class racing," said Multi-Laser President Brian Cosgrove. "We again donated $5,000 to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre Pediatric Unit from proceeds raised during the event." The Grand Prix has previously raised more than $15,000 for KRCC.
