Static Adds Kits for the HP 5500
SANFORD, N.C. – Static Control Components has released a pin removal kit and a shipping protector kit for the HP 5500, creating more efficient processes for remanufacturers.
The 5500 pin removal kit allows for the removal of OEM pins without causing excessive damage to the plastic surrounding the pin. This is important because if the plastic area around the pins is damaged, pins could fall out or not remain in their proper position, causing print defects. The kit includes a pin removal fixture, drill bit and pin removal pliers.
The 5500 shipping protector protects the developer roller from creating flat spots that could cause band defects on solid fill pages. The kit includes a shipping protector, lock and spacer strap.
