Static Control Announces Grand Opening of SCC China Ltd.
ZHUHAI, China Static Control Components announced the opening of an office and distribution center in China to better support Asian customers. The office and distribution center in Zhuhai is in the Pearl River Delta near Hong Kong, Macao, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
"Stuart Schulte is SCCs managing director of the China location and is responsible for every aspect of the business there, including creating a strong SCC presence as the remanufacturing industry rapidly expands in the region," said Erwin Pijpers, SCCs international sales manager who is well-known throughout the Asian recharger marketplace.
"Im fortunate to be located within two hours of nearly all Chinese customers and look forward to assisting and supporting all customers," said Schulte. He is fluent in Mandarin and highly proficient in Japanese.
"We started seriously studying this market more than 18 months ago," said Rob Leonard, vice president of sales and marketing. "This now completes the very first phase of our investment and commitment to the industry and to our valued customers throughout Asia. Our overall strategy ensures that customers in China and throughout most of southeastern Asia are within two days or less from the full assortment of SCC products, services and support, including our latest new technology products."
Schulte has been involved with China since the late 1980s and has several years of experience in technical sales and customer service throughout the region.
