Static Releases a Samsung Fuse for the Creation of a Universal Cartridge
SANFORD, N.C. – Static Control’s new Samsung fuse allows remanufacturers to create a universal cartridge for six machines: the multifunctional Samsung SCX-4016, SCX-4116, SCX4216F and ML-1510, 1710 and 1750 cartridges. Since the cartridge is the same for all six models, remanufacturers can save time and reduce inventory by utilizing one SKU for all six machines.
The fuse is necessary for resetting the drum in the multifunctional machines. While the equivalent Samsung ML-1510, 1710 and 1750 printers do not require this fuse, there is a recess on the cartridge for it.
"Replacing the fuse is simple and can be done quickly," said Product Development Manager Fred McIntosh. "Simply remove the existing fuse from the cartridge and insert the new fuse by sliding it under the tab."
Also available for the ML-1750 are toner and a drum with gears.
