Laser Imaging Adds Replacement HP 1160/1320 Cartridges

CHATSWORTH, Calif. – Laser Imaging International has released a replacement cartridge for the HP 1160/1320.

Released in November 2004, both the 1160 and 1320 are small-footprint printers based on the same Canon print engine and ship with a standard-yield cartridge.

The HP 1160 is an easy-to-use laser printer designed for small offices and students. Delivering 20 pages per minute at 600 x 600 dpi, the 1160 is not network ready but can be used with an external print server and works in both Mac and PC environments.

In addition to a base printer, there are several network-ready models of the HP 1320 available, including a wireless-ready unit. All 1320 models have a built-in duplexer, which makes it both cost effective and environmentally friendly. The 1320 prints at 22 pages per minute at 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. And like the 1160, the 1320 has a 10,000-page monthly duty cycle.

Laser Imaging’s replacement cartridge contains a replacement chip for end-user toner usage information and produces clear, crisp text and smooth shading with an OEM-equivalent page yield of 2,500 pages at 5 percent print coverage.

Laser Imaging manufactures more than 500 types of laser cartridges with current production at 75,000 cartridges per month. Laser Imaging offers customers free private labeling, packaging choices, marketing support and blind label drop shipping.
