American Ink Jet Releases Black Pigment Ink and Cleaning Fluid

BILLERICA, Mass. — American Ink Jet Corp. (AIJC), a leading independent developer and manufacturer of inkjet inks, has released Pitch-Black pigment ink for use in HP 51629- and 51645-type cartridges, and Ink-X cleaning solution concentrate and cleaning fluid for use with all inkjet cartridges.

The Pitch-Black is a high-density, quick-drying black pigment ink designed for the HP 15, 20, 29 and 45 cartridges. “The density of our new Pitch-Black pigment exceeds that of the OEM on just about any paper,” said James Andreottola, product manager. “These may not be the newest cartridges, but they represent such a large percentage of the inkjet remanufacturing market we feel our customers will greatly benefit from the exceptional quality of this new ink.”

Ink-X is the latest in AIJC’s line of inkjet cleaning fluids and has been designed to aid in cleaning cartridges containing pigment ink. The new formula is strong enough to break up dried pigment, without corroding delicate inkjet print heads. Ink-X is also available in a concentrated formula with dilution instructions, and detailed instructions on how to best utilize the new cleaning products are available.
