Muratec Names Yutaka Moriwaki President and CEO
PLANO, Texas Muratec America Inc. has named Yutaka Moriwaki president and CEO.
Moriwaki replaced Muratec President Hideki "Henry" Mori, who has been promoted to general manager of the communications equipment division.
Moriwakis appointment is a direct result of his successful track record in the product planning department. Moriwaki has been with Muratec for more than 20 years and has served in various senior-level sales, marketing and administrative capacities.
"Our dealers growth and success is my primary concern, and I look forward to providing them with the products, service and support theyve come to expect from Muratec," Moriwaki said.
Muratec also announced the promotion of Shoichiro "Sean" Takasaki to director of product and new technology. Takasaki was one of Muratecs top sales managers in Japan and a key closer for the network solutions team. He was also a driving force behind the deployment and promotion of IP fax solutions.
"This is an exciting opportunity, and I look forward to developing products that will increase our market share in North America," Takasaki said.
