Brent Hoskins Named Executive Director of BTA
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Brent Hoskins, editor of Office
Technology magazine, has been named
executive director of the Business Technology Association. He was appointed to
the position based on a unanimous vote of the association’s board of directors
during a June 9-10 meeting at BTA’s headquarters in Kansas City.
“It is with great pleasure and excitement that I announce
the appointment of Brent Hoskins as executive director,” said 2005-2006 BTA
National President Mark Naylor. “Over the last 19-plus years, Brent has
established and developed tremendous industry experience, knowledge and
relationships. Combining that with a truly heartfelt and energetic desire to
see our members thrive makes Brent the ideal choice to lead our association.”
As executive director, Hoskins will be responsible for the
overall management of the association in accordance with the goals and
objectives established by the BTA board of directors. He will report to the
association’s national president. Hoskins will remain editor of BTA’s Office
Technology magazine
“It is an honor for me to assume this new role, serving our
membership and the industry as BTA’s executive director,” Hoskins said.
