Depot America’s BGA Technology Means Cost Savings for Customers
FARMINGDALE, N.J. — Depot America announced its latest
addition of advanced technological equipment that supports in the repair and
replacement of ball grid array microchips.
“We aren’t aware of any other vendor in the industry who
currently has or uses this technology. Keeping this process completely in-house
has enabled us to pass the cost savings along to our customers and ensure we
have sufficient stock of printed circuit boards utilizing this technology.
We’re very excited about that,” said Chris Sinibaldi, director of quality
assurance/R&D.
BGA microchips are found in the latest printer and copier
models on the market. Depot America’s new equipment ensures no damage is done
to the boards or its components that would deem the board not repairable or cause premature failure, resulting in savings for Depot America and its customers.
