Summit Technologies Releases Four New Sharp Universal Chips
BOHEMIA, N.Y. — Summit Technologies LLC announced the
release of four new Sharp universal chips. These chips became RoHS compliant on
July 1. RoHS is a new protocol that requires many manufactured products to be
free from hazardous material. One of the banned materials is lead, which has
traditionally been used in printed circuit boards.
Summit Technologies’ AR152NT/AR152T chip will support the
AR-151, F152, 153E, 153EN, 156, 157E, 157E, and 168S. The AR202NT series chip
will work in the AR162, 162S, 163, 164, 201, 202 and 207. The AR270NT/AR270T
chip will support the AR235, 270, and 275. Finally, the FO-55ND chip will
support the FO-4400, 4450 and DC550.
